the first weekend in june, ben wanted to be at his cousin jill's wedding in the draper temple. she is a year and 1/2 older than us, and this is something that has been a long time coming for her. we decided to make a bit of a trip of it...but had to rush home for quinlynn's baby blessing on sunday. i wasn't too hot on taking pictures of that, or of visiting and staying the nite with my old companion, emily hodson (hacken) in lehi.
BUT...our visit to temple square was nice! we happened to come on the exact day elder l. tom perry's funeral was, so a few things were closed to the public. we toured the conference center, the beehive house, the visitor's center, the joseph smith memorial building and lookout, and many fountains. buzz was the only one who lost a shoe in the fountain and asked crazy questions! actually, i think bentley did too...i wish i could remember them.
on the way to lehi, we stopped at scheel's sporting goods and looked at all their awesome aquariums and golf stuff...and rode the ferris wheel for $1. then we met emily at a thai restaurant in lehi and spent the nite there. it was fun to catch up with her and meet her husband and baby daughter, if only for a couple hours. on saturday, we attended the wedding luncheon and sealing with family members and stopped at lisa's on the way home to pick up anni for her and emerson's vacation at grandma's! it was a quick trip but fun to see some sites and support family members. we stayed the nite at mom and dad's and then were off in time to get home, get dressed, and make it to marsing 1st ward to the blessing and dinner afterwards!
