over conference/easter weekend, our family got up early to put a fresh flag up on liberty butte. we had a nice little hike and got home in time to watch conference and for ben to get to work. it was also grandma moncur's birthday, so we wished her a happy day! that evening, while dad was at the priesthood meeting, we did our traditional atonement eggs that all point towards christ and the sacrifice He made for us.
on sunday, the wright family got here just in time for conference. wow! we hosted an easter feast for them and loren, kathy, and natalie. we enjoyed trout and steaks, and carrot cake for dessert from kathy. aunt jessica had her baby also over the weekend, so they were headed her way for a visit after lunch. we enjoyed the day watching the messages downstairs and then had an easter egg hunt outside. i love listening and reviewing the talks that are given.
we always have a great time with cousins around! the kids went to school on monday and we all got back together that afternoon to take a fun hike up lizard butte and play. in the evening, we made yummy appetizers..coconut fruit dip, chip dip, and soup to enjoy the final game of the ncaa and family home evening together. thanks everyone!
