A Very Happy Halloween

last halloween i was in the hospital.  this halloween, things were not quite back to normal, but we had a wonderful holiday!  we started during the week going to the sr center in marsing with emerson's preschool to sing for them and dress up.  then ended up doing the library party as well to help out family.
i spent a good amount of time making each costume for everyone.  we had wreck-it ralph (made with hulk hands), fix-it felix (super easy, we even spray painted a hammer gold), a cute lady bug, and the skunk costume revisited and made into a 'girl' skunk.  i also bought some leg warmers and dredged up the rest of the stuff to be an 80's girl.  bridon hauled off my authentic, t-shirt clip but other than that, i had neon on and even my safety pin earrings and neon green ones behind that.  the kids thought that was crazy and awesome!

i helped out at the boys' classroom parties at school in the afternoon with the girls.  it was slightly chaotic, and i'm not sure how much helping i did.  that nite, ben was in charge of the trunk or treat, so we got there early and stayed late to clean up.  our family had a great time, and bentley got way too much candy as usual.  luckily, it was a friday nite, so we still made a few rounds to our neighbors we always go to.  they thought we weren't going to make it.  happy halloween!
