Ellee's Monkey Cake Day!

our little ellee turned 2 on november 18th.  she is a joy to have in our family.  she is fun and crazy like bridon.  she talks very well...and very loud!  she is always full of energy and loves to climb up on everything.  you leave her for a minute or two, and she's up on the table, on the counters, on the washer and dryer, or up on her changing table.  that is why she has a cut on her head in the pictures.  a friend watched her the day before and she was climbing again...

 for her birthday, i showed her some animals that i thought i could pull off for a cake since she loves animals so much.  she calls shera, hi-yah (although now she is starting to say the right words for everything since her birthday).  she loves the boc-bocs, mouw mouw's, and says the pigs are pooping and they are sinky!! ellee chose this monkey cake off of pinterest.  she loves mickey and minnie and thinks they are monkeys.  i tried to do my best, even making homemade fondant with some frosting i all ready had on hand.  we had a fun little party for her in the afternoon with the family that could make it and the girls loved helping me bake the cake.  we got her some blocks, pjs, and socks.  and gma'as and gpa's gave her fun clothes, books, and a new baby stroller.  she is still talking about turning 2, blowing, and her MONKEY CAKE!  that was her most exciting part of the day:).

 ellee and emerson are best of friends.  they have so much fun together most of the time!  they can get in some real doozies, but for the most part, they are great!  they play kitchen, and frozen.  ellee absolutely loves emerson's dance shoes and tutus.  they love to dress up together and get in mischief together.  here they are hiding behind the chair in the basement while i was in the shower.  they raided the lunch chips in the storage room.  little turkeys.  ellee knows when she has to go to the bathroom.  she tells me when she pees her diaper.  she hides behind the couch (above), in closets, etc when she has to poop.  she knows she is getting frozen panties from santa to make headway in this area:)....hopefully. 

 we sure do love our little smelly ellee.  happy birthday to you!
