Forever Young

jessica got married to ken young during the first week of march.  we traveled down for a reception in layton, ut and then they were married in the bountiful temple the next day.  luckily with no rain, just a bit chilly!  it was a beautiful day.  the kids traveled well and we were able to stay with ben's cousin, jill leonard.  we also had time to quickly take the kids to see temple square!  ken and jessica were very happy and we enjoyed celebrating with them and visiting with family.  on the way to the luncheon back in layton, our car sprang a massive oil leak.  :( typical.  ben was able to buy enough oil to get us home. we stopped on friday nite and spent time with grandma moncur.  the 3 oldest we dropped off at the carnival and they had a blast.  saturday, the boys helped grandma in the yard and we celebrated bentley and emerson's birthdays with a pizza party and ice cream cone.  we flew kites as well.  thanks grandma!

the next saturday was the reception here at home.  it was in the shop and ben helped on clean up duty.  emerson and i put up balloons and signs.  ben's mom and sisters made ALL the food and of course, it was delicious.  the decorations looked awesome as was the weather.  it was a fun nite for everyone!  bridon drank about 3 italian sodas and covered his white shirt in grease playing hide and seek under the lean-to side of the shop.  bentley helped bring food out and was a gracious waiter.  emerson was at the 'kids only' table almost all nite coloring.  and ellee, well ellee was ready for bed about half way thru, but she did fine.  the weekend went off without a hitch until sunday afternoon when julie's family took ben/brad/loren's 4-wheelers for a ride and seth ended up instead, riding the life flight helicopter!!  by a miracle, he only ended up with a gash in his head and two, broken arms after rolling it down a hill on his first ride.  perhaps, helmets would be a good idea my friends... happy wedding jessica and ken.  we are so happy for you!!!
