my three kids could be classified as 'combine chasers'. i think it's the novelty of this harvest only coming once a year instead of 4x, all summer long! if the combine is going anywhere near the house, they are dying to ride. today they had to settle for second best and bale straw instead with their dad.
grain harvest is in full swing...wheat, oats, and soon some seed. ben has all ready started getting up early for seed cutting, radishes. i better get the freezer stockpiled with waffles and homemade breakfast sandwiches. can't believe august is all ready here, more to come soon! emerson is pooping on the potty, the boys earned a slip n slide, and canning is underway!
