ben has been busy with groundwork. it is handy to have him working right outside the house on the 90. the kids come and go as they please. bentley had school and enjoyed his time playing with blaiz. they rode bikes, wrestled, and played all sorts of imaginative things. he also had his primary program sunday. his part was moses 1:39. he memorized it over a month ago and did a great job. both his grandma's were there to watch. bridon is bridon :). last nite he woke up three times, and i finally had to go lay by him. he told ben this morning that a big man was trying to get him and rip his leg off in the nite. he asked me at lunch what our throat is made of. i said, "cartlidge, blood, and skin." he said, "blood, skin, and carrots?" shera knocked him down again while they were running down from the chickens; scraped his head. emerson says several words now. i washed and got out my old cabbage patch doll for her from mom's. she has fun with it and with markers, crayons, paint...whatever she can lay her fingers on! maybe she'll be creative? she absolutely loves nursery and has so much fun being pulled around in the wagon by her big brother bentley. she had a blast with all the cousins jumping on the trampoline this past, weekend although she is completely opposed to being good during family pictures...is it too much to ask for just one good one per year!? i am busy with all the usual....office, garden cleared, yard shaped up for winter, yw, halloween costumes, etc.
i sold some more chickens. i think 21. only roosters and about 25 more to go :)! there is this one lady with an accent that keeps calling me from boise to see if i will deliver them. she even found me a closer spot in caldwell to drop them off, if i could have them there by 8 a.m. in the morning. i haven't been that desperate yet! super funny...on sunday, ben let them all out to 'free range' it. we went up sunday nite to put them all in and half of them
were roosted on the small, straw bales in our little shop..right next to the olan mills photograph of ben's family from like 1994. it was retrieved from the dumpster a few years ago, and lovingly place on a nail up there. i spared my mother in law a photo, but i had to crack up. it was home sweet home.
