Monster Good Time!

we took our 3, little monsters trick-or-treating halloween nite.  they did the monster boogie, visited family, and had a great time snagging some candy.  bridon got scratched by the cat right before eating his sloppy joe to head out.  he applies his own band-aids and usually takes them off about an hour later.  emerson had a death grip on as much candy as she could hold in her little fingertips.
ben bought a pumpkin carving kit at snake river mart.  after he got home from the baler, he gave it a whirl.  i burned the pumpkin seeds, and he broke his prized pumpkin knife...but we had fun and the jack-o-lanterns turned out just fine!
and the kids and i went to bentley's classroom for his 'fall frolic', basically a halloween party. i tailored his monster costume after the book 'there's a nightmare in my closet.' we dressed up one last time to see our neighbor, joanna, across the street. it was a monster good time...hope you had fun too!

Great pictures and costumes! The best picture of all is Bridon with the purple bandaid on his nose! They make great little monsters!

Such cute costumes...Good Job! We have the book "There's An Alligator Under My Bed" by the same author and the kids just love it. Maybe next year I won't feel so overwhelmed with three kids and will be creative again. Then again, maybe not. :)

Great costumes! Looks like you had a great time! Of course, I can't think of you and halloween without thinking of the haunted house at Lagoon! Ha! Good times.
