Throw-ups

in between all the holiday cheer, we caught the throw-up bug. last week was bridon, last nite was bentley. his was the worst. all over his bed, every blanket, every sheet, every pillow, the mattress, the hard wood, down the hall on the carpet and then bridon woke up and drug his blanket and stuffed animal through it. i had a feeling i should have given bentley a bucket when he went to bed! i am so glad this happened during the winter though, so i wasn't the lone ranger cleaning everything up and keeping the kids out of it! bentley is feeling just fine this morning, but we had to miss our holiday group pre-school party. (i guess we chose, but i would hope others would do me the same favor :) i suppose it's a good lesson for us. i should have listened and bentley won't always get to do everything he wants... i am just happy about an amazing cleaner i bought from this crazy black man that ben sent to the house this fall. he was selling this green stuff by the case. it works well for the bathroom and, after, i washed bentley's new quilt last nite, i woke up to find that the red polka dot binding had bled all over the blanket and practically ruined it. i have had bad experiences with red laundry, but i sprayed it all down with that cleaner and there are only 3, small spots left!!!

we've still enjoyed some fun holiday parties. we had a friends' party last week with plenty of yahoos running around everywhere! we hosted our company party over in our shop. loren had complications with back surgery, so he was under the weather. ben and i headed up all the festivities and made all the employee families a sweet gift. our whole family participated in the little skit and nativity at our ward party on saturday. as much as ben hated being a thespian, everyone did a great job...he and bentley were shephards, and me and the little ones acted out a harried mother and her kids. that wasn't too hard to act out for sure!!! :)
