Kicking off December!

december started off white! it totally feels like the christmas season is here, so we put up our charlie brown tree (really) and decorated the house. my little helper had a blast. the christmas cactus is blooming and i set out my grandma's vintage bulbs to add to the decor! we did a couple town runs in the snow and then stayed around here to ride the 4-wheeler with the sled tied to it. emerson was on my back in a huge bunny suit i found at d & b. the boys and i started some holiday cheer baking gingerbread men and putting sprinkles on them while emry sat in the high chair eating graham crackers. then before the snow melted the first time, we built a snowman and i took the boys on the sled again (this time bridon would ride, without his dad there to knock him off! :) we built our first big fort in the house and worked on projects. then it was out again to shovel the snow and throw away all the pumpkins and fall stuff that got covered with snow before we knew it! ben moved the rakes home in it yesterday. it was crazy to see them go by with snow falling (i thought we'd moved into saturdays off season, but alas he has to hold down the fort!) emerson and i ran off to town while the boys stayed with the achievement day girls at the church. i wish i could say it was wonderful, but standing in line at the cutting counter in joann's for 45 minutes, not so much! however, the super cute holiday gifts will be worth it! :) this morning ben and emry were a bit under the weather. i couldn't resist taking the picture of ben with all of bridon's stickers lined up next to his head. that boy ! tonite we went into the christmas devotional at the stake center. all three kids were asleep when we pulled into the parking lot at 6. i love listening to the messages! wishing you a wonderful holiday season...especially to those who are under the weather. we're praying for your recovery!

The snow did hurry in the Christmas season! I'm glad you could enjoy it with the kids. Fun pictures. Can't wait to see you all on the 18th!

Yeah for a white winter! Will it still be there for the 25?
