even with the enlarging family numbers, we still manage to get together for the annual, wells-moncur holiday party. sadly or happily, it seems like it's the only time we actually get
together anymore, so it makes it all the more fun! ben and i hosted the 
party this year and did a polar express theme. bentley made the invitations. we had a huge, dirt/mini snow storm the nite before. i should post a picture of my windows..ruined! we had a cousin gift exchange. when the wells arrived, 
ben 'hooked up' the polar express, lisa gave us our tickets, and we went for a ride with bells ringing that mom made. we had breakfast for dinner and then assembl
ed and d
ecorated a gingerbread train. the nite was finished with the annual spoons game. whitney c
ame out victorious! mom and mary have lost their touch :) it was a great party!!! thanks for making the trip everyone.

That was a great party! I thoroughly enjoyed all the hugs and sticky kisses from the little ones. We should institute an annual summer party, too. Hope to see you at Christmas...
It goes by too fast! But I had a wonderful time! thanks for hosting it this year! Mary and I will have to work on our touch for spoons.(Maybe extensive finger exercises!) We can't let the younger generation take over yet!
