All I want for Christmas is my 2 front Teeth...

and that's what emerson finally got the week before christmas! now she's onto the next two beside them and feeling cranky again. oh well, we had a great holiday! we stopped by to see santa a few days before christmas. the kiddos were all a little leery but bentley warmed right up. e only started crying at the end. none of our family was around this year for christmas eve, so we celebrated with the kids having a meal, watching 'crunch' (the grinch), acting out the nativity, opening sibling gifts (bentley earned his money to buy e a sippy cup and bri a matching game), and then having our traditional birthday cake for jesus. we left treats out for santa and his reindeer and hit the hay (well, atleast the kids did :). i finished up the boys' christmas ties and put the elastic in emry's skirt. gma was so kind to help me out with it before she left! bentley tripped over a cord onto the hardwood in his room before bed.
he woke up twice during the nite with the top of his foot aching. we even had to wake him up in the morning to go see what santa brought, but he has recovered! it was so fun to see how excited mr. bentley was and bridon just loved his thomas train. they both were excited to get a john deere harvester set and packed it up that afternoon to take to gma and gpa moncur's. we went there for dinner and then stayed until monday, seeing a few old friends at the ward and visiting with lisa, alan, and their families. i love the anticipation and excitement for christmas in the gifts that i spend forever making and hoping people will love! i got ben a fertilizer spreader with flotation tires, sushi gift cert, and a broncos sw-shirt. he got me some fun kitchen gadgets, socks, and a ring to ease the pain of my old one. the excursion got a new grill too, no pun intended! ben made sure of that, and i have to say that even though all of his diesels and accessories are sometimes a bit much, i've always secretly hoped i'd never have to drive a mini-van, so it's good :). it is the most wonderful time of the year!!!
