Thankful Reunion

over the week of thanksgiving, we had a winter family reunion on ben's side. all but one of the immediate siblings were able to attend, and we had a great time! ben and i found a joint up in garden valley and we all stayed from wednesday nite to sa
turday. there was delicious food, family history, games, crafting, lots of kiddo stuff, tubing, christmas tree hunting, hot tubbing, bsu game watching, and playing in the snow! the first nite, ben and i were some of the last to bed. i woke up to him yelling for me from the bathroom. the water knob had completely blown out of the shower and water was flying out of the wall and flooding. i woke up brad and they got it shut off with no water in the cabin until late morning thanksgiving. it looked like it had happened a few times before! then, the last nite we went to bed and smelled something burning. i found a tv table being charred by the open propane wall heater. the place was spacious, but not overly luxurious :)! it was actually great, because i didn't feel like i had to keep my kids from destroying it. they had so much fun with their cousins playing air hockey, sleeping in a bed full of bunks, running, jumping, putting all their snow gear on, and having a blast! and, thanks for all the pictures...i've been a total slacker lately with my camera. it was fun to get away and all be in the same place with no work and no cell phone service. we could put the kids to bed all in one house and then spend some adult time as well. we had so much to be thankful for! let's do it again next year!!!
