we were most interested this year in getting treats, not tricking anyone! maybe in the older years:) in the spirit of elder uchdorf's conference talk, i slowed down. i didn't make one, single costume. bentley wore my mom's childhood clown costume. pretty cool! bridon wore our cousin's 'mater' outfit, and i added
a few touches with the trucker hat and redneck shirt. emerson wore the costume i made for bentley when he was a babe. i had more time on my hands then and sewed all those feathers on a pair of yellow pajamas and a matching hat. miss e was not interested in all the feathers around her mouth and face and she must be gaining some weight, because she nearly split the snaps on the legs out when she got moving. we went to a combined marsing trunk or treat and chili feed. it was perfect weather...and absolutely packed! so many people we couldn't get our big rig pulled into the circle. we stayed and visited for a bit, went back by the corn maize, ate, and left. we
hit a few of o
ur neighbors that really look forward to seeing the kiddos. we weren't sure how that'd be going on saturday instead of sunday, but it worked out great.
the one couple expects us to show up with another kid, and we didn't disappoint with missy e!
happy halloween to all!

Cute!! Good for you for not stressing about making costumes. We have to let some things go for our sanity, right?
Emerson's pics in that stroller are to die for!
Great costumes! I remember the clown one from when we were kids and we used to play carnival!
Great costumes with less stress - Way to go! Did you get the Halloween box with the birthday trick in it?
