Down in the Back

on thursday, we had a bus load of teachers come visit to observe and learn about the haying process for the ag in the classroom tour. bentley was elated that he got to ride a coach bus! that nite, our little family went to a picnic with them over at mckellep pond. my back felt a little funny as i was starting to leave, but nothing was out of the ordinary, just chasing bridon around. by the time we got home, i was completely crippled! i have been down and out since then...today's sunday, and i can just now get up and barely start walking. it is insane! i have never had this happen before! i went to the bone cracker (chiro) and he said that once you're in your 30's and 40's things can happen when you twist or turn the wrong way. nice! needless to say, ben has been playing mr. mom when he's been home, my vt and m-law made us each a meal, and the house is destroyed with everything i was in the middle of on the back burner! i have a new empathy for people with back problems. this is horrible! i even crashed our only, get-away family reunion of the summer. what a bummer! i sure hope we can reschedule. this has definitely made me sit back (literally) and think about all the amazing things a healthy body is able to do. i hope i can be a better person from all these, weird little incidents that seem to creep upon us! and a shout out to all of you that i know that are suffering from ailments; i hope you feel better soon!

Isn't getting older awesome!! I was cleaning out a bookshelf the otherday and when I tried to get up my knees were soooo stiff I could barely walk! What the heck! Get feeling better hopefully whatever you did will get better!!To help strengthen my back I do a reverse crunch...lay on your tummy and lift up your head till your upper torso is up off the ground...it will help strengthen your back muscles.

Sorry to hear you are hurting. I saw your m-law today at Amber's (hair cutter) and she told me about your ailment. This pregnancy has caused me some back pain, but I guess I should be grateful that I can walk. And ... it will surely go away in about 5 months! Get better soon.

Hi Maria! I haven't been to your blog for a while. It looks like you are having a lot of fun this summer. I am definitely jealous of you and all your wide open space. I need to get out more. I'm learning. I hope your back feels better. That's crazy that it put your so out of commission! Take care!
