Who would have known?

tonite we returned home from the annual hay and forage association meeting in burley. usually this takes place in TF, but this year they needed a bigger spot, thus the burley inn convention center. bentley and i came along with the boys for the ride, as well as kathy who stayed with julie. it was nice to see family again...and to see our new, little niece, tylee. (thank you for coming to meet us!...and thanks for having us, mom and dad...)

the question 'who would have known?' comes from a bit of a story. i discovered, while attempting to get out of my parents' house that i had forgotten bentley's shoes yesterday. we stopped by jcpenney to see if we could find some deals, but no luck. after lugging around a very active almost-2 year old to the quilt shop and a visit to mom's school, we gave up and went home. but...i saw some shoes i liked while i was in the 'mall' (i really don't think it can qualify anymore, what with 2 stores and a broken front door)...but i talked lisa into running up there this afternoon and hit the jackpot on some great deals, pregnant and all! who would have thought i would find such great items in burley in snake river plaza's wonder and glory! and ben was happy...very politely, he suggested i try to resort back to my 'trendier' self and get some better maternity attire...especially new sunday shoes, so i did!

anyway, enough of that! we don't have a whole lot to report from the last few weeks, but have been working on some home improvement projects...and no, ben does not hire out, he hires in when it comes to fixing stuff:)!!! i'll have to post some of the projects when they're completed! bentley and i were sick for a bit and then he started to get his 2 year molars and i started getting gall bladder attacks in the nite (my dr. has prescribed indigestion meds at this point)...so far they're working, so maybe it's not the gall bladder, but the side effect is restlessness and so i can't tell if that's happening or if i'm all ready far enough along to not be sleeping good at nite anyway! who knows!??

since i'm rambling, i'll go onto tell about the few things we have done as a family...we attended jordan valley's branch conference and bentley and i got to enjoy primary, since there is no nursery. we had old friends, the sessions' family over for games, ben small baled 45 acres of weeds (in feb..a little out of the norm), and we attended emily and natalie's play they put on with the missoula children's theatre....but mostly we've been home, and we must say, most of the time, quite enjoy it! :)

The Snake River Plaza...awww, the memories of that place. Did you know that place is as old as me? My mom was upset because she missed the grand opening because I was born. Maybe next year they'll have a big 30th anniversary celebration.

The Snake River Plaza has never been quite the same since it lost The House of Fabrics and Regis Hair Salon.
I should have gotten a pair of those shoes too!
Sorry we won't be able to come this week. I was really looking forward to the visit.
I guess we'll settle for spring break--can your spring projects wait that long?
Love, Lisa
