yesterday we celebrated valentines by attending the annual john deere day at campbell tractor. bentley watches only one dvd that we own and that is "it's all about john deere, part 4" everyday, except for the sabbath (our day of rest!) SO...he was all over the tractors they had parked in the shop and did pretty good during the presentation and video...and of course, he's always in perfect behavior for whatever's for lunch! you might think i am complaining (if you don't know me all that well) but this was right up my alley...ben does a great job trying to understand his crazy wife. i'm really ok without roses and chocolate even though he is the kind of guy that loves to give those things! we did win a gift card to applebees, so atleast we can go out on the town one nite, right? :)
speaking of eating, i babysat for a friend this week and i realized that bentley's good eating behaviors are not entirely bad if i can curb them in the right direction! the boy will eat any vegetable or fruit presented to him! i had another thing coming with the two girls i was watching trying that.
i hope you all got to enjoy the general broadcast last sat. ben and i were able to hit each of the sessions...it was so good! and since i didn't take a moment to put up a tribute, it brought back all the work and thoughts of president hinckley and what a motivating prophet he was. i hope we will be able to make a difference in the children that come to our home in raising a 'righteous posterity.'
oh...an update on the raccoon trap. well, after another tom cat catching and a scare with a skunk, we've called it quits. can you imagine a skunk trapped in there all nite next to the garage door (which is actually the office) bad news?!!! it didn't happen, but the tom cats were stinky enough!

What a great Valentine's Day! We celebrated by eating one of mom's frozen meals and some pink Jell-O salad. Very exciting.
I got your email about printing the blog and I am no help at all. I guess you could copy and paste into word--not really sure how that would work though. Hopefully someone else is more helpful!
Happy President's Day (there are some great sales going--I'm sure you will want to brave the crowds for them-ha!)
Love Lisa
I'm glad your family had a great Valentine's Day! Bentley may have some of the same inherted genes as the "Moncur boys" I know. That is that they have wheels in their heads instead of brains. I don't mean that as an unkind statement it's just that tractors and moving things seems to really turn the wheels in their heads. Have a good week. We love you.
Hi Maria,
I'm sure you LOVED the tractor show. Does Lisa have 2 kids now? What are their names?
