Elmer Fudd and six, random things...

yesterday, the hunter struck again. ben saw a coyote running across 'the 90' outside our back door. he had one shot and hit the sucker, then we all had to traipse along with him thru the mud so he could finish it off with his pistol. oh, let the good times roll! i promise we are usually not this redneck!...but ben had a great time. we also went to ben's church b-ball game, painted/taped bentley's new bedroom, went out to eat mexican food with friends, and attended the state basktetball playoff game where vallivue came out the winner! (obviously winter is still here since we have sat's free!) we had a wonderful day at church today and enjoyed the nicer weather. bentley was the only one in nursery! to top it off, we had one of our favorite sunday meals, french dip sandwiches...delicious!


as for the six, random things...i saw this on a friend's blog, so now that you've seen it, tag, you're it! just list six, random things people might not know about you. here goes...ok, make it seven...
1. when i was little i was terrified of the dark! i’ve come a long way, but i have to admit that i’m nye on 30 and still hate going down to the basement when ben’s gone baling all nite, and i don’t have someone to protect me from the ‘boogy man’ :)
2. i have a planner/book that i write every list you can imagine in. tragically, i think I enjoy writing the lists more than doing all of the tasks on them!
3. lots of times i have to be motivated (perhaps i lack in self motivation!) for instance, i can lose weight after a baby if i’m in a contest with someone else, or i get the coolest projects DONE to give away to people if i have a deadline of say, their birthday or christmas.
4. ok, i know i’m not the only one here…i love new babies, but i must say i dread the last trimester! i feel like i have something caught in me that i can’t get out! i can’t get comfortable, i can’t ride my bike…i guess that’s why my horrificly, long labor with bentley doesn’t scare me too much…i’ll be ready!
5. i hate weird noises like loud biting of the fingernails or chomping ice…really annoying!
6. every once in a while, i prefer to have karo syrup instead of maple syrup on my pancakes. give it a try, it’s pretty delicious!
7. i do have one, last issue that i thought i’d throw in since my friend holly had the same one…it’s hugging. i am not a big hugger and i don’t know why! i think it’s genetics cause actually holly is related a ways back! what is it with us?!!! i think people think we’re crazy!
