Bear Lake Reunion

 we got together for a sibling, family reunion in bear lake over spring break.  everyone made it except the three, youngest girls.  we had a pretty decent drive cross-country and arrived to good weather the first 2 days.  we spent time walking, playing in the park, and i planned a family olympics.  the hit was the tug-o-war.  brad and

jill came out victorious, but brad was crippled the rest of the time there...so i guess not a super victory for him!  we had lots of fun just the same.  the place we rented was 3 levels with slides going to each floor, plus an indoor basketball court, swingset, trampoline, the works.  there was also a theater room, a huge kitchen, ping pong, and beds for everyone!  the kids were always playing.  there was so much for them to do!

we each took turn with meals.  ben and i had dinner and made homemade chili with baked potato bar and jello salad.  we took walks, had a fun fhe hosted by g&g, and at nite would have q&a sessions with the adults about various subjects.  spencer would ooze gas onto everyone repeatedly.  brian was on a 'sustainability' book reading kick.  he was a walking, talking commentary about this book and it's contents.  the boys were about ready to throw his book in the garbage:).  i told him i didn't know what would happen if he cracked open his scriptures again-he would be out of control!  that was funny:)  there was only one throw up session at the very end and a detour because of snowy roads thru soda springs.  good times. we stopped off at grandma moncur's because she was home on her break as well.  she made us yummy soup and we played a bit and visited.  let's do it again!
