Cousin Will's Wedding

 my cousin will got married on august 15th.  the kids and i went down to lisa's the 14th.  i actually had everything ready on time and we loaded up to head to the office for a few min.  ben was mia, so i filled the washer fluid, checked the oil and noticed the tire was low that i had just had fixed the day before.  bummer.  ben was wanting to get new rims and tires this fall, so he was holding out.  in the end, i pulled into les schwab and we got a new set of tires for the trip.  we had a pretty decent trip after that, with only a pit stop to get an ice cream cone and feed ellee with grandma, and some 'roadsides' for bridon. :)

we pulled into the brigham city pool around 5 for a few hours of fun with cousins.  the kids had a blast.  bridon loved the big water slide.  bentley and blaiz wanted to jump off the diving board and swim in the deep end.  anni and emerson ran around and played.  lisa brought us a picnic dinner that we devoured, then it was off to their house to shower and be in logan for the wedding at 9:15 am the next morning!

 i thought the sealing was a wonderful reminder for me.  and, as always, it was fun to visit family members .  one cousin's husband said will's wife, dani, looked like she was 15.  i'm afraid a lot of rm's wives look 15 to me these days.  does this mean i am getting old?  we had a busy, long, but great day.  cache valley is so much bigger than when i went to school there, but i did take the time to show the boys campus and my old apartments. the luncheon was in smithfield and then we drove out to park valley for the reception that nite.  my girls were at their breaking point by 9, so i convinced mom to leave her car and ride home with me.  i almost hit 2 black cows in strevell on the way home, but other than that, a great day.  congratulations!

friday, i slept in!  (after ellee and emerson woke me up during the nite.)  i picked lots of green beans to bring home, we had lunch, and then the kids and i dropped by to see aunt carolee and then trekked it back.  the kids did great and i didn't get tired at all.  that was a blessing!
