June Daze

 ben just finished 1st cutting.  yah!  we are excited to have him back for a little bit.  while he's been gone, we have been settling in well to summer!  i changed up our chores and family rules a little bit, and so far, this has been going well for everyone.  the kids just used their spend money today to get sleeping bags and a frisbee for the family reunion coming up.  although there are lots of messes and lots of meals, they really do help out quite a bit!

so far, june has been tball games (a post on this later), slip n slide till we got a hole, popsicles and homemade pudding pops, riding with dad, changing water and sometimes getting to go with grandpa.

 cheetoh had 4 kittens in may and this week we gave 3 of them away to our cousins.  they are SO cute.  why is everything so cute when it's a baby?!  we wanted to keep 'black eye' but settled for 'loudie' after everyone came by to choose.  i cleaned out the back porch and have high hopes for a makeover back there!  speaking of babies, little miss ellee can sit up now.  she also eats solids and is getting her top teeth, but they won't poke through.  it is painful, but that's ok.  we love her lots and lots.  no matter how many babies i have, all the fun stages and things they learn to do never cease to amaze me and make the hard parts so worth it. 

 i think some of these pictures may have not been june!  we ended preschool with a field trip to the fire station in marsing and a swing at the park.  we had a good year together with our little friends.  i have been busy with the office.  it's that time of year!  sometimes i take the kids for short amounts of time when i don't get a sitter.  here we have bridon taping something up again.  he said he got the gauge of gweedo (the forklift) downstairs and had to match it up to his giraffe.  don't ask!?

 i love june and the beginning of summer.  it's not too hot, the flowers are so beautiful and all my kids are home with me....and sometimes i get to sneak away for a late evening jog.  yes, it is crazy a lot, but i think everyone is happy and making good childhood memories, i hope!
