May Holidays

 tonite i went jogging from the canal to the end of the pasture, end of pasture to canal, canal to end of pasture...anyway, you get the idea.  ben was swathing and i couldn't go far.  i started thinking about how fast time is going by.  the yard and flowers are so beautiful again after some rains this past week.  how is it all ready summer again?  how are my babies growing up so fast?  i think i love getting together with our families and siblings even more now.  for mother's day, we spent time at my parents.  we helped out a little in the yard, opened bridon's pirate costume for his birthday, ate out,

 and enjoyed sunday together.  both days were beautiful outside.  my favorite part of the day was playing sardines with lisa and our kids while the babies slept.  i remember playing with my cousins games like that out in all the old buildings in park valley.  it was so fun! i also love how the boys can come up with the funniest and cutest cards.  bentley says i make shooshy the best and i spend my day cleaning messes.  bridon said i would be syndrome if i were a super hero and the card below is what he made me for my birthday filled with all the pennies from his penny bank, since he wanted to keep all the silvers...ben said bentley said the funniest thing when they ran to town to get a pizza that nite.  he was thinking really, really hard when ben asked him what they should get me.  bentley was totally serious when he answered..."something with broccoli?"  :) ps. i didn't plant any this year!

 ben's family...all nine siblings, spouses, and kids were here for memorial day!  the main reason was to attend the temple with natalie as she prepares for her mission.  i got to teach her and 3 other boys in the ward the temple prep classes.  it was really cool to study and ponder more about the temple and what i am trying to learn while there.  too bad ellee got me up at 5 am that morning for the day.  i hope i will not be struck down in the next life.  anyhow, we enjoyed all the rowdiness of hanging out, met our new cousin mackenzee (born on my bday!), and took family pictures.  the kids love playing with cousins!  we decorated graves and had a great time together while it lasted.  we are so blessed to have such wonderful families and lots of cousins for our kids to grow up with!
