i'm not sure what to write this time. except, here we are! i have a lock on my phone, so the only things the kids can do without me putting in the code is take pictures or videos. the one above was on the way to the office. apparently bridon was out of his seat?! when i saw it, i couldn't delete it. it's not that funny, but it just captures 'us'.
we have been busy lately. it is so dry that water started early, so ben has been working a lot. i have been working quite a bit keeping everything under control at the office with rents going out, payroll ramping up, etc. some days are nice outside, some are not. some days bentley gets in trouble at school, some days he does not. i never knew parenting would be like this (not that it's bad at all!) but i now understand what people mean when they say they need an instruction book...especially tailored for each child. i also have more empathy for so many. i mean really, one kid shows his colors right in front of everyone, one is going bald, one won't sleep at nite, one loses his cool when he's egged on (see the missing nose boy below) it happened today while ben was at church/work later and i was attempting to play uno with the kids. he got a bloody nose during the kafuffle and bandaged his nose himself. i know i have been judgmental towards others but each of these things are helping me see where others may be coming from. you know, i really am trying with my limited abilities and i'm sure others are too...
didn't you enjoy general conference? we had visitors here. the wright's came and we enjoyed having them. lisa and i ran the boglow 5k in boise saturday nite. we even coerced camille to give it a shot. it was awesome. perfect weather, nice and calm. i stuck with her most of the race and enjoyed the night. we had hired a sitter until eldon and ben got home from priesthood session. it's the longest i've left ellee and it worked out great. we even had time for frozen yogurt afterwards. way to go ladies!!
this week uncle larry got married in the boise temple. bridon dressed himself for the occasion. it was fun to see some of ben's family members that we don't see often. once again, seeing the changes larry has made makes me believe in people more. people can change!they can become better. i can become better; especially with the gospel. all things are possible! they really are...
Your doing great! You have a wonderful family and they are adorable. I love Briden's imagination and it makes me smile. Hope you can get onto my blog, though not as exciting as yours!! Mary
You're right! Each kids comes with seperate instructions but as parents we have trouble figuring out all the steps. Hang in there! The nose job is Bridon all the way! Love you, Mom!
