Her Special Day

baby ellee was blessed on december 30, 2012 in the marsing 2nd ward by her daddy.  both sets of grandparents were there as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  we missed those who couldn't make it! it was my debut of getting everyone there by myself since ben was called as eq president.  i only fell once in the snow:).  ellee lyn was a given a beautiful blessing.  the line that stuck out to me the most was the she 'would have a strong physical body and personality, and how much love and happiness she has and will bring to our home and family.' ellee was blessed in the dress i wore when i was blessed with booties one of my g. grandma's made me.  mom gave her the sweater and i crocheted her the white hat and leg warmers and made the flower.  i was able to get them done because of our road trip; i think they turned out well and will be fun to pass down.  the tricot blanket was gma mcintyre's when she was blessed.  pretty cool!  she was happy to get them off and be swaddled though; she wasn't able to settle down until then.  what a special little girl. we all got together here at our house for a ham dinner afterwards.  she is such a blessing in our lives.  thanks to all who came and showed their love and support!
