Christmas Eve

it's the night before christmas...and we're waiting for everyone to go to bed, maybe even ellee!  (emerson and bridon fell asleep delivering goodies so are not tired)  we actually have everything done.  i put a few things by the wayside to simplify but it's a good feeling.  tonight we had a small progressive dinner with a birthday cake for jesus here at our place.  the kids loved having their cousins and aunt to act out the nativity with.  after everyone left, the kids got to open their pajama pants from gma and gpa mcintyre and open the gifts they bought each other.  the boys worked to do a list of chores a week ago and used the money they earned to buy sibling gifts.  emerson was pumped to get fingernail polish and lipgloss.  she said thank you in her prayers for her box of oatmeal from bentley (she l.o.v.e.s. oatmeal for breakfast).

we sent the last of our holiday cards out today (little late).  here's a sneak peak of one of them if you haven't gotten them yet!  the funniest thing was finishing up our neighbor and friend goodie delivery.  the kids and i made rudolph the reindeer donuts and then some homemade kit kat chocolate bars.  they did some of the delivering themselves yesterday to our close neighbors in their pajamas.  bentley asked us, after delivering to some old folks on the hill, "why do old people have saggy throats?" ha ha ha ha!  merry christmas!
