All In a Row
is it just me or when it comes to family, it seems like we see each other at several occasions all in a row and then not for quite awhile. that even happens with those who live nearby?
well, anyway, lisa and eldon had a baby girl in september. we traveled down for ivy's blessing last weekend and then lisa and her kids came up here for their fall break. each of our (soon to be) four kids are almost the same age and in the same grade! all in a row! people may think that it was planned, but not at all. the only thing i remember was after we got old enough to realize it, we would get together with my dad's family and after all the old people had left (sorry guys!), we vowed we would have our kids together so they could experience awesome family parties. guess it worked!
in tremonton, we signed the kids up for a 1 mile fun run to help a good cause, 'fright for sight.' the four oldest all dressed up and ran while lisa did the 5k and ben and i refereed. bentley and tylee were right out front and tried to get in first. bridon chugged along and never quit; he was dressed as mater. many people were cheering little mater on; he should have been the energizer bunny instead! blaiz took a break. i attribute this to his getting everyone up at 4:30 am saturday morning! they have awesome prizes down there, so the kids got loads of stuff and treats for all. then they had a raffle. there were gift cards, groceries, etc, but look what bridon won! ha ha! a wooden bear roasting hot dogs for your cabin porch. that nite we went to a corn maze- it was perfect weather, put the kids to bed, and got ready for the masses! we enjoyed our visit and getting to see new little ivy and our other relatives. every baby is named ivy now that we see according to emerson.

up here, we enjoyed being outside! blaiz and bentley went fishing in the canal after school. we attended the boise temple open house (more on this!), went to pre-school, had school lunch with bentley, and had fun at our annual fall party. the kids love playing and tucker themselves completely out. our only mishap is shown in the first picture...emerson and annika got pink eye or something like it. emerson chose to 'bandage' both her eyes and anni was found putting drops in the fishes eyes or e's dolls, telling them "it won't hurt." funny girls!
