Here We Go Again

i think i have been recording the same things over and over again each season for as long as this blog has existed.  nevertheless, i haven't found a better way to journal, so here we go again!  i'm actually very glad that we are still doing this and that are kids are growing up as little farm hands.  1st cutting...1st time this early in the year for several years!  yah! pray for no rain for awhile! 

field picnics have started, aphids and ladybugs are out, boys are dirty and tired, ben's gone late, late.  on the baler tonite.  maiden-voyage of his beloved steamer! 

emerson even took a ride.  on saturday, i ran in a 5k race over in homedale with some of my sis-in-law's.  it was perfect weather, i was able to jog the whole time and not come in completely dead last :).  i dropped the kids off at the swather on market road.  i came back to two, dirty little ones eating animal cookies and bentley on the other swather with one of our employees.  thanks for babysitting, i guess!  next time i will be in super good shape and not just jog it, but maybe be towards the front of the pack and pushing them in the stroller??? 

but why do that to myself, really, when they can eat treats and roll around on the floor while their dad goes nuts!??! :)
