Fingerprints

it's easier to write this when all my little people are asleep, so that i feel the meaning of it instead of going crazy with little fingerprints reaching for me! :)  or a diesel spill then going thru my washing machine, or a half bottle of dish soap going down the drain because someone got their mouth washed out with it, or the power going out for 24 hours when the fuse box caught on fire in the garage (all in the last week).   i taught the sunbeams on mother's day.  we made a card with this poem. 

Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small,
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls.
But everyday I'm growing,
I'll be grown up someday,
And all these tiny handprints
Will simply fade away.
So here's a final handprint
Just so you can recall,
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small.

come november, ten more little fingerprints will be joining our family.  we told the kids on mother's day.  bentley wants a girl.  bridon wants a boy.  i just hope for healthy and that i can be a good mom.  rough sometimes, but i love them and want them to reach their hightest potential!  tonite i got 30 minutes to myself to go on a freedom jog.  ben came home at 7:30!  he helped clean up and put the kids to bed before i got to go out for some alone time.  great birthday present.  i need a 30 minute jogging sitter every nite.  volunteers?
