Chance of Meatballs

bentley had his primary class over for his birthday. he has a very small class, so we were excited both isaac and berkley could come! i picked up the book, 'cloudy with a chance of meatballs' to ba
se the party on. it is a cute little book, and bentley was pretty pumped about it! we made invitations, and the the nite before, the boys helped me make cupcakes and rice crispy treat 'meatballs' after gymnastics. we had a great time using the beaters! for the party, we read the book, played outside, and then i had a few games planned. we had a contest of who could pick up the most spaghetti and meatballs, how long it took to find a meatball hidden in the spaghetti, and a pancake toss. i tried to make his cake look like spaghetti and meatballs, and then i also used some candies to make 'fried eggs' and a few other items from the book. gma, gpa, and dad were there when we blew out candles. we had a great time celebrating!

Great job on the party. Sounds like some of your mom rubbed off on you. I remember some fun birthday parties at your house.
