the last few weeks have been unseasonably warm. what they call an indian summer, i think. there hasn't been hardly a stir of wind and the temp. around 80 almost everyday. i got a wild hair and completely wacked down the front, flower garden. 10 ft. tall hollyhocks, rose bushes, dogwoods. in the end, a whole trailer full while the kids melted down.
bridy's got on a new kick of trying out his thomas shorts again to finalize his potty training. not exactly mastered yet. here he is after he helped me pick beans and carrots. he will go out to the garden by himself and dig a carrot, wash it, and eat it. he is so random.
silage harvest is going on, soon high moisture. i have to admit, i'm going to be a little sad when the corn's gone outside the house. i wish it was on the other side though! we're completely closed in and can't see any of our neighbors to the south or who's coming down the road. it's kinda nice!

I've been loving this long summer, although it seems like it was a late start. Anyway, your kids are getting so big and so CUTE! We should definately have an Emerson reuinion!
I don't remember a fall being so warm for such a long period of time. I like that I can still go to the garden and pick out my dinner!
I loved talking to you the other day. Thanks for calling! Enjoy your Indian Summer. I love the pictures!
I haven't got on your blog in forever! So just reading all of your past 10 post, it really made my day!! All the boys stories are hilarious, and I love all of the pictures. My favorite was Bentley falling in the well thought, CLASSIC!!
see you guys this weekend!
Wow, your life sounds so different from mine. But I did plant some cauliflower, broccoli, and peppers the other day, so I guess not that different!
I'm glad the well story had a happy ending!
