our festivities started earlier in the week with a gift package from g & g moncur, complete with sugared cereal that turned your milk green for a little haunting! then g & g mcintyre gave the boys these adorable trick or treat bags that kathy made. they loved them! we had the leavitt family over on friday nite for fondue, pumpkin carving, and frosting halloween sugar cookies. on saturday morning, ben and i went to the temple while camille watched the boys. we all met and went to breakfast first.
it was a great morning for all! back at home i had a very quick, crash course on completing the costumes just in time for trick or treating! yes, i leave everything to the last minute. and, yes, i'm trying to change my ways! bentley had been asking to be a pig all month long, so i obliged. i bought a pattern and had it all ready to go, so it didn't take super long. bridon went as "himself"...a box of bridon, baler twine with a twine ball hat.
i first sewed down all the twine, then put it on his head and discovered it was too small, so resorted to hot glue. oh well! we had a fun time taking the boys around to the neighbors. most of them farm, so they got a kick out of bridon. we also stopped at ben's parents and the whole family was dressed up to greet us; even g & g! and then, ended our spree trick or treating cousin heston, who was dressed up as a dino. i think i overdid it and caught a cold with my stunning immune system, but so far it's not too horrible and i'm keeping my fingers crossed, we don't get the swine flu! happy halloween!!!

Way to go Maria! The costumes turned out great and Bridon's is hilarious!!
Where is yours and Bens??
Love them! You rocked the costumes. The first picture of the boys is definitely frame worthy!
I just checked your blog and Lisa's blog and you are both pregnant!? That is so exciting! I hope you are feeling better and that you get your little girl!
What cute costumes!!! Love the little piggy!
You are amazing! Love the costumes. Your boys have grown!!! Where did your baby go??? We miss you guys. Always fun to visit your blog!
Good job on the costumes...you are so creative.Kambell was an indian and Kinlee was a (hand me down) ballerina. You guessed it- next year Kinlee gets to be the indian. Maybe next year I won't have a baby in my tummy sucking all the energy out of me and I can try to be creative again. Hope you are feeling well. Take Care.
I sure like that "Little Piggie" costume that Bentley is wearing. The Bridon Twine boy looks real fine also! Glad you had a fun Halloween!
love the costumes! looks like they had a fun Halloween.
Great job on the costumes! Luckily John's mom made one for Kevin, I told her she could do it every year.
Guess what!! I made jam today. Well, freezer jam is pretty easy but yummy. Can you tell I want to be like you when I grow up?
Your costumes turned out fantastic! That has got to be the cutest picture of the boys. Makes me want to hug them and give them anything they want. Mary
