ok, bentley, whatever you say...yes, he has decided that he is no longer a little boy, but a man. when i told him all the responsibilities of a man, he said that he is a guy.
he reminds me almost everyday when i don't let him say, flip his own pancakes over on the hot stove or let him go with his daddy every waking hour or his uncle spencer. but then i remind him that he is a guy when he makes a mess and has to clean it up or when he doesn't want to go to nursery, cause guys are grown up and wouldn't make messes (ha ha) or not want to go to nursery.our little guy has been going with his dad every day for the past, two weeks on the small baler mostly. they have baled over 9,000 bales! he even gets up before church to go irrigating and gets in just in time for breakfast and to get dressed. oh yes, we're of course, always punctual. hopefully this eagerness lasts past age 13!
he also knocks on the back door and asks me for a check while he is talking to guys named bob and darwin on his (broken) cell phone. i guess he sees person after person coming to the back door for money or meetings. and what guy wouldn't be a guy without coming home covered in grease? after ruining a few shirts, i just started putting these nice, old ragged ones on him. but, one more story. i don't think guys are supposed to be afraid of reptiles, or is it amphibians? last thursday we came home from a baby shower. bentley went to the back bathroom to do his business while i was on the phone and helping bridon thru something he was screaming about. i heard a blood-curdling yell and crying come from the bathroom. what in the world?! he was yelling that there was a frog on the floor. sure enough, the boys had left the back door open and the little frog that lives on the porch had hopped in. i put him back out to his home, wiped bentley's bum and remembered that he is my guy...still my little guy, thank goodness!

Gosh, I love this kid!!! We've got to figure our schedules out and get together soon!
He's so funny! Sounds like he has quite the work ethic, awesome! Atleast you get to send him out on the tractor and only have one kid in the house for awhile, that's nice.
you have some very full hands! We are planning on making it to Shauna & Nate's housewarming, but we will probably be late because I will be coming right after work
hey, great new family picture! was that a self-timer or did you bring a friend? You are getting really good!
Funny about the scary frog...I didn't think Bentley had any weakness!
Your new blog picture is fantastic I love it. Tell Camille how you did it okay. Mary
