Early Present

on friday ben and i went up to the owyhees near silver city for an afternoon bike ride. it was a great early, birthday present...and it was great that he pulled through on something i've been wanting to do for a long time! he said we had to go then, because next week he will so busy we won't be able to get away...
we're in triticale right now and just finished some of 1st. anyway, we went on the first turn off and then looped around a really cool trail that took us through some awesome rock formations, springs, and great overlooks. it was so fun to be out...and ben even let me take the newer 4-wheeler which is a polaris. now that we have both ridden on it, the other ones feel like you're being whiplashed. all the wild flowers were out and the boys fared well while we were away with their babysitter, katie. thanks for the fun trip!
