I'm a Believer?!

i know it may be a little off the beaten path, but i thought it was worth a try. several women around here have recommended that i take bridon to a lady who does 'foot zoning'. after another episode with him last week for two nites in row, i finally gave in and made the appointment! bentley, bridon, and i left yesterday amid the slush and ice and made our way to meridian. i have to admit, i was/am skeptical, what with the aroma of essential oils and a soft recliner for the office chair...but bridon's colon and back seemed to be what he reacted to (which i witnessed) and he got a good dose of peppermint and oregano oils to try and get him back into adjustment. thing is, he was all ready trying to fill his diaper before we left, he only woke up once during the nite last nite, he took two, very long naps today, and he is all ready asleep in his bed! i guess i'll cross my fingers that the witch dr's helping us out...we go back again on monday.

i stopped at the grocery store on the way back. bridon slept almost the entire time, but i had mr. b helping me in the cart. i used to think i could never do such a thing with two children, but what are a bag a squished grapes and what's this? a nasty cup'o noodles, can of beef stew, three spaghetti seasoning packets...and i can't remember what else...all discovered just in the nick of time before we hit the checkout stand! little turkey!! he is quite the little character these days...i really have to watch what i say and do (which is good, i should be doing that anyway, right?) since ben is gone to LIA, i have him with me 24-7 and we are back on somewhat of a schedule! today we made cake cups for the 'mutual girls'. we baked cupcakes inside ice cream cones and then frosted them with chocolate frosting (that he wanted to stir on the stove the entire time) and added sprinkles. he loves to cook and be RIGHT there next to whoever is in the kitchen doing everything. he also LOVES doing the dishes and would run the water and toss around everything in the sink for hours if i'd let him. maybe bridon will like to play with toys! on a more serious note, he picks up so much of what is being said or is going on. today he told me 'benty is a child of god' and he now wants to offer the prayer by himself anytime he can and includes everything on his mind. it is very cute! i guess this brings me to my next dilemma...and that is, blogging. i wasn't sure if i wanted to keep up with this as my family journal because y'all probably don't want to know every detail that i want to keep track of, but i've decided that if i can find a great place to publish this every year, it is the way to go for me..i've gotta go low maintenance or i'll lose my mind! happy blogging everyone!

I got my blog book back from the publisher (Blurb) yesterday, and it's awesome! I'm so glad I did it. For me, I think it's definitely the best record I've been able to keep of a year. We do need to get together so you can see it, because I think you'd like it!

Just for the record I love your blog, and enjoy keeping up on what your cute, wonderful family is doing. Yes, its one way this old lady gets her kicks you could say, thanks for the sharing. Camille TXed me pictures of her blog book and it looks wonderful, I can hardly wait to see if for real. Such a neat way to keep a journal.
Say warm and happy! Mary

THANK YOU for hanging out with us. We love you guys!

I can't wait to hear whether the witch doctor works. I'll wait to see what you and Bridon decide before I believe in foot touching healing powers. :) I do hope something works, you deserve some sleep!

Hey!
If things continue to go well for Bridon, Eldon is seriously considering a visit to your witch doctor! She would have to do a 1-2 time visit/cure, but we'd give it a try!
Let me know what you decide to do about publishing. I've started designing my 365 days of pictures book. Wish us luck!

We actually have a lady in our ward who does does foot mapping and essential oils. She has helped mother alot! She helped Buzz when he had a bad case of strep throat while our Dr. was out of the country. Even the biggest skeptic of them all, that would be JC, has gotten help from her. Oh and she helps me with my shingles.

Sometimes the holistic way is the way to go. I have to go to the chiropractor every month or I get a huge head ache. If it works go with it. What can it hurt?
AS for your blog!!! I love catching up on your life and all you do up there! So don't go away! I love it!

YEAH for hippie witch doctors. I can say that because Brent's mom is one. Glad to know somethings working on that little boy.

Hey there, keep writing your blog, since I'm a slacker when it comes to email I appreciate the opportunity to know what you're up to. It was so good to see you over Christmas, tell your mom thanks for letting us stop by! Thanks for your comment on my blog, I hope you have been taking care of your "old lady feet"!

I did not know he read it either. But from what Aunt Carolee told me he does, so??? Who knows. I have found several people I know who read my blog and never comment or let me know. I usually find out from someone else..."oh so and so said they read blah blah on your blog." Oh really. Hmm. It always makes me smile.
