Spurts!

i have realized i go on blogging and picture-taking spurts! never mind that i keep forgetting my camera on the most important days/events...so i plan to put up a nice collage this week of recent happenings! in the meantime, i'll share a few stories.

baby bridon has been growing everday, staying the calm little guy that he is, and putting up with bentley kissing and hugging him (just a bit forcefully)....that is, until my head hits the pillow. then it's off to screaming! his tummy hurts and he cries, then i get him settled down, and it fires up again! the instant i put him in his crib, he's all about crying. what to do?! i CANNOT have this baby in our bed forever...he is such a noisy sleeper and i feel like i am half dead when i wake up. mind you, i am now getting out of bed anywhere from 7:30 to 8 in the morning. yikes! the day is half gone at that point, but i feel like i am half gone from lack of sleep (and worse, ben has all ready hit the only, local fast food joint for breakfast)! friday nite, ben was gone baling...i got to sleep at 10:30 :), then bridon started in...then at 10:45, bentley started crying from his room that he had a stomach ache. i had both boys in my bed until 12:30 with one crying and then the other one crying. good grief! if you would have told me i was going to willingly sign up for this 5 years ago, i would have laughed you down! ben got home at 2:30, and there was only one boy in our bed at that point...but last nite was a disaster as well! don't worry, i still love my little boys and i wouldn't trade the world for this time in my life!

darn this wire-free keyboard; it just died...okay, new batteries and i am back in business! anyhoo...we have had a fast week. where does the time go? bentley, bridon and i visited my parents, alan and sister and family monday through wednesday. i looked forward to it for all of june and now we are all ready back. we had a great, summer visit...with the wading pool, grandma's projects, tractor rides, and good company! it is so fun to all be together...and i find myself relaxing and letting everything at home just go for a couple of days!

bentley and i have been busy picking "strawb's" in the meantime...the first day they came on last week, i went crazy and ate them as i was picking and then more afterwards. bad news for bridon! he can only handle a small dose! he screamed all day the next day. we've also gone on some fun bike rides with bridon squished up against the front of the cart in his 'donut' (picture forthcoming).

can you believe it is all ready towards the end of june and the first day of summer has all ready begun!? we've all ready celebrated father's day, our anniversary, and passed by family, birthdays! i am so thankful for all that i have and for the good, people around me -and far away...i feel like i learn from everyone! happy summer!! until i have a 'spurt' again and get some pictures up...
