time has been racing on for us around here! all ready the 12th of june and we are no where near being done with 1st cutting...ben's out tonite baling, so i thought i'd do a little updating. i finally got the camera problem under control, but any machine our family owns, is bound to flare up. this time it's the lawn mower...as if mowing the lawn twice a week with a mulcher isn't all ready a thorn in my side! ben says the engine is 'ticking'...basically a ticking, time bomb to blow up! so, what to do? maybe i'll just hire it done this summer until we have enough saved for a new mower. who knows?! to boot, tonite i went out to finally get the back lawn under control, and noticed bentley had been playing with the keys. they have now, mysteriously disappeared!!!
bentley and bridon are doing well. bentley is really starting to talk in complete sentences and REALLY explain himself. his uncle brad likes to get him to say UPS, stuck, and awesome...all words that he pronounces incorrectly and sound like vulgarity! he has been playing well by himself (caught him with a sharp knife before he got this one) and we have time in the mornings while bridon takes a nap to do fun activities. we went to the library this week, picked strawberries out of the garden, and went for walks. tomorrow is picnic day at the park with grandma and girls...oh, and he got to go with his daddy on the small baler and the swather and tells me about cutting hay all the time. he also saw daddy check the hay for moisture out here on the 90, so now when we're outside he'll run over to the field, pick up a clump of hay and tell me he's 'checking it'...too cute!
bridon is growing like a weed! he is almost out of all of his newborn clothes...it is so fun to see him start to be so alert and almost smile. he is a little stinker though, and struggles sleeping in his crib. he loves his bouncy chair instead (on top of the kitchen counter..so safe! out of bentley's reach)...except at nite. for the past week, he starts crying about 11 and doesn't get back to sleep until midnite. his legs stiffin out and he screams just like bentley did with collic. this too shall pass!!

we had visitors last week...my parents brought up my grandpa kunzler. it was so great to see everyone! grandpa had never been up this way before, so he had many questions and enjoyed looking over the countryside and riding around with ben. bentley loved having company. he asks me where great-pop is now...but now he calls my mom great-pwama, so we'll have to see what he does when we go for a visit next week. the nite after they left, ben was gone working, so when i got done getting him ready for bed with scriptures and prayers, he hopped in his tent...and he slept there all nite and several other nites this week. never mind the hard floor! and yes, i know, he is over two and still uses a binki at nite...one thing at a time, or i'll lose my mind!

Those pictures are so cute! I am trying to send some hot weather your way, let me know if it works! Enjoy the picnic and your little boys.
What sweet pictures. I can't wait to see you again. We will be in Idaho the week of July 21. We have to get together!
Hi! That is a good picture of Grandpa and Bentley. I need to get one with him and Blaiz.
We'll see how the tent works next week! I would try it with Blaiz, but he has started a naughty habit of getting out of bed in the middle of the night and wanting to sleep next to us! NOOOO!
See you Monday!
such cute little farm boys, theres nothing like them! i love the moisture checking story thats awesome, my baby like the bouncy chair on the kitchen table also, don't worry about the binky, we did the same thing, sometimes a moms sanity is worth more then anything!
love char
Don't worry about the binky thing. Jake is 4 and still sucks his thumb. At least when you get ready to break the habbit the binky can disappear. It's gonna suck to break Jake of his thumb. Just like his dad and uncles. Your boys are so cute.
Hey looks like you guys are staying busy, I love the pictures! You are such a good Mom! Keep up the great job!
