Life with Bridon

this is my first week alone with two kids! so far i've managed 3 days :), but things are looking up especially since i know what i'm in for with our summer schedule. 1st cutting's all ready started (and so have the breakdowns and bills...i try not to worry:), so sat. nite ben got home at 10 p.m. and tonite he's getting ready to small bale. i am so glad that my mom and sister (THANK YOU a million times!) could come for a visit. it is so nice to have adult conversation and to have someone else do the cooking...which, by the way, i think i got gypped. my vt is a little different, so i didn't even get those nice meals you look forward to when you have a baby. oh well!

bridon is growing and getting more alert everyday. he is a joy to have and has, so far, been a good little baby. we love him! bentley is busy, but he and i are doing better together. i feel more like getting down and playing with him and loving him. we are working hard on learning to 'listen' to momma and daddy. it is a chore, but i'm sure it is only a drop in the bucket to all that we will be teaching him thruout life! he really is a good boy!

wouldn't you know it, my new camera hit the fritz the day we brought bridon home from the hospital. mom, lisa, and jessica have taken pictures, so i'll need to get them from them...but until then and some pictures i'm going to try to take today, here are two that a sister from the ward came over and took. i am excited to see what other shots she got to put together a birth announcement. this one of his face doesn't capture what he really looks like to me, so i'll have to put more up soon! i feel so blessed to have two, happy, healthy little boys and such a wonderful husband and family (including my inlaws who help us so much when we need a break!). thank you everyone!

Great pictures! I think I know how to do that "rough" look--I just need some time to practice!
Glad to hear you are holding up. Eldon decided to do his part in stimulating the economy and bought a new computer tonight. Yikes! A good investment, right?! We are making some family plans--I will fill you in another time.
Take care, maybe you could give an anonymous suggestion about the meals to your VT's.
Have a good week!

So sweet. You are a good mom. You will do just fine with two. Just remember to take the help when it is offered, and come to Cali once in awhile so those two cuties can play with their cousins. ;)

He's so precious! My mom wanted me to tell you she won't be able to see pictures of your beautiful babies unless you invite her to view your blog. I will send you her email address soon.
Thanks for sharing the pictures. I'm sure you are doing great with two little boys.

Hey Lisa,
Can I be invited to your blog? Is that wierd??? I like looking at pictures of other peoples' cute kids to hold me over until I have my own. My email is bunting@jlbunting.com. I guess I'll just put my mom's email on here too so I don't have to remember to email Maria - kevjohanna@safelink.net
Thanks!
Becky

Hi Maria! Thanks for inviting me to see your blog even if I had to invite myself! I just can't believe that someone who would call me the unabomber and try to drown my husband could be the mother of such cute boys! Congratulations. I am happy for you and it serves you right! Love, Johanna

Hello from Mom,
At this very moment I'm sure Western Idaho dirt is blowing freely in Southern Idaho. What a rip roaring windstorm! I'm glad you are holding up. Little Bridon is growing - I am seeing more of Bentley in him. I hope we get up to visit again in the near future. Keep going and remember your babies don't stay little very long so enjoy each day. Love you all!

We all like to invite ourselves to your and Lisa's blog (hint, hint Lisa, I think Maria has my email). You guys must feel pretty good knowing that people are begging to look at you blogs!!

How did you do that with the picture? He looks great--I can't believe he is only a few weeks old. Looks a lot better than my babies at that age.

Maria,
Isn't it about time for your birthday? Maybe I'm way off, but I thought it was end of May. Happy Birthday whenever it is!
