Spring Break

bentley and i ventured down to my parents' for my mom's 'spring break' earlier this week. we met lisa, blaiz, and tylee and had many, toddler activities including a 'green party' on st. patrick's day where we learned the color green, cut out green jigglers, and blew green whistles like a lepricon! we had a 'spring party' the next day to color eggs and find a little candy from the easter bunny in our home made bunny baskets...some of the eggs were JUMBOS from mary and wendell and there was a basket of books and new bath 'colors' in the bathtub left by g&g easter bunny. to top it off, lisa and i took the little boys to the movie Horton Hears a Who. i believe blaiz enjoyed 3/4 of it; bentley began rolling in the popcorn and going under chairs to find discarded, sour patch kids at this point. the boy has a short attention span! oh well, the movie was a good one if your kid will sit still long enough to view it! we had a grand time...thanks for the parties everyone. just been working a little outside and finishing up bentley's room the rest of the week. ben is planting hay today and doing ground work. it looks nice out...we'll have to make a trip to the sandbox for sure this afternoon!
