i know that this is old news for some, but i thought i'd share a few of our projects that have happened around the house. bentley is finally moving into his new room and a big, boy bed! the pinstripes took FOREVER and i don't recommend them, but they turned out cute with his farm 'mural':). i can bore you with more pictures if you'd like..still working on the official, bedspread. the shelves were what i hired to be put into our storage room downstairs. for many of you they look like just shelves. but for any of the MANY family members or friends that have lived here over the years, they are excitement! that room always just had stuff everywhere and on top of everything! finally, the eggs were a project i set up while jenny was in town and her and kathy practically 'blew' all my portion of these eggs that we painted. apparently my blower has given out! you dye the eggs in two, different colors using olive oil to create the swirl effect...and since easter was so early, they're still on display at our house!

as for our week, bentley and i enjoyed a little bit of nice weather out-of-doors. we babysat a couple of days, so he and his 'friends' played in the sandbox some. ben and i were able to do family names from aunt carolee in a sealing session during the week, and i have just been keeping busy around the house and office. ben has been planting and doing custom work...and acquiring more land to rent. good or bad?! our excitement for the week was watching his church ball games...tragically losses. there were a few, un-named individuals trying some three pointers over and over and over...you get the picture!
we are so happy to be a family and to be welcoming #2 in. dr's appointment this week says everything is going fine, measuring big as usual! we don't have names picked out for either a boy or girl, so we're open to suggestions. maybe we'll set up a poll. we enjoyed easter sunday together and listened to some really good talks at church. i taught loren's ss class, and then we had a lesson in yw on making family time count. i am always open to toddler activity suggestions if you have any. mind you, bentley is good for about 5 minutes per activity. i think we were onto number eight by lunchtime...although he did do something very interesting today and that is he got in the camera drawer and took out all the rechargeable batteries and lined them first up in the window and then on the coffee table. maybe he'll be organized afterall!

way to go on the projects. the shelves look awesome and i bet it's so nice to have stuff off the floor. We asked the kids what names they thought you should use and seth said jake or rachel, sarah said vanessa or jaxson and sam says either ichabod or hyacinth. great choices, i know :)!!
I think if I took a poll at school the #1 name to NOT name your child would be Cody! We're had some pretty hairy experiences with children that have been named Cody. Your projects look really good. Shelves and lights are a blessing!
