Stanley's Tee Ball

bridon played t-ball during may and june.  there were practices at the school during may and then games on tuesday and thursday during june.  we just finished up!  lately i started calling bridon, 'stanley' just to shorten when i am trying to get his attention by saying (or possibly shouting) his first and middle name together.  bridon loved wearing his tball outfit.  the pants were bentley's and are too big but he was desperate to wear them.  you can see him adjusting them during his game when he is supposed to be playing!  he got to play with his little friend chad and had fun carpooling to practices with him.  his favorite position to play was catcher.  he loved putting the ball on the tee.  and he would chase the runner all the way behind the backstop to get him/her out.  as far as batting, pretty much the ball went right to first every time.  he didn't really care, he just loved running and trying to hit the ball!  the way he looked when they took the field, you'd think he was pretty bored with the game but always said he had so much fun!  success...that's what it's all about!!!  we had lots of different family members drop in to a game for support...and ben even made it after 1st cutting.  yah stanley!
