one day while bentley was at school, bridon found a can of trial-sized shaving cream that emerson had been playing with. he sprayed it all over his arms and rubbed it in like lotion. when i smelled it on him later, i asked him what he had been into. he said my dad's sour cream. (he always says 'my dad' and 'my mom')
bentley cracks me up with some of the stuff he perceives at school. the other k-teacher is mrs. bright. but he still calls her 'mrs. sprite.' for a couple of days he told me he sat by a boy named 'silence'. then he learned his name is silas. tonite at prayers, he told us he needed his utensils pushed back again. that would be his 'cuticles'.
emerson just yells 'bob' (the kitty) and ba (for ball...she is by far my most interested child in playing with any type of ball and throwing it and rocks). occasionally she yells for 'mom,' 'dad,' and 'kitty' and i've taught her shoes and the sign language for please. next, we need to work on 'drink.' she is a water buffalo! :)

It's true that kids say the darnest things! Enjoy the innocence while it lasts...
So funny, and I agree enjoy where you are all to soon they lose that innocence.
Hahahaha I love those kiddos. [:
