T-ball

we have had fun watching bentley play t-ball. he had practices in may and now games twice a week at central canyon during june. on tuesday he hit a "trevor"...actually a triple, way to go bentley! ( my hands were full, so i only got a picture of his foul ball:) it is tricky focusing on the game with the other two, but he has a lot of fun and i enjoy (and ben too, when he can come) watching him learn and progress. his number is lucky 13! bedtime is serious crazy business after a game. we have our routine: outside chores done, both boys shower, emerson baths, we clean up, brush teeth, get our beds and stuffed animals ready, read scriptures, and say prayers. it's a good day if all this is done by 9. ha! i am open to suggestions!? last week during the game, ben, brad, and then my neighbor, joanna, called to tell me bob had been ran over in front of the house. she had delivered four kittens two days before. poor bob! my neighbor tried to get her momma cat to take the kittens but it didn't work so when ben got home, luckily he came home that nite! (he has been running the 3rd baler for the past few weeks), we were feeding four babes at 11:15 at nite. the next morning, i talked to the girl that babysits for me once a week while i work...she loves animals, and specifically cats. she took them! and only lost the runt. she feeds them with a little bottle every few hours...they are in good hands. then all the chickens suddenly started dying as well. i believe it was a touch of pneumonia...got lots of opinions, some antibiotics, and the hatchery gave me 12 replacements.we're back on track again, knock on wood ...hopefully i won't kill the family flock. this morning when i got up, there were 50 more chickens and 3 turkeys in my coop. oh my word!
