Hooray for the Red, White, and Blue!

we had a house full for the 4th of july. it was great! on friday, we went back over to the taggert's in homedale where spencer's reception was, and went on their awesome water slide!!! bentley and bridon LOVED it! all of ben's brothers and sisters stayed in town so that we could play and get together even more. then, my sister lisa and her family, and my cousin stacey, came for the weekend. we all had a blast. we got up early on saturday and ran the melba fun run. the weather was so much colder than usual for the 4th of july, so that was kind of nice for the running part. with my turtle-like pace i was able to complete the 2 miles in 20 min. something, while the pros did it in 17 something. we went down and got pizza for lunch and then all got together to play kickball and soccer at the marsing hs in the afternoon. that nite we had a huge bbq at our house and an awesome fireworks display. i missed the super, grand finale while emerson was crying in the house, but i've been told we had some huge ones! thanks for taking a picture for me! it's sure been quiet around here without everyone. happy birthday america...we really are so blessed to live in this wonderful land!
