Top Heavy

i'm the first to admit that our middle child has a huge melon! the poor boy loves to run and climb and ends up tripping, falling, or crashing...always onto his head. it seems he can't go a day without a scratch or a bruise on his forehead. last week, i was blowdrying my hair and trying to 'get' him while he ran up and down the hall....straight into the wall.


his head immediately swelled up and he had a HUGE goose egg pop out (i'd never seen anything like it). i even called grandma to take a look because he looked like a small alien.

but, we're all back to normal now, just the usual crashes. and his new love of pens, markers, and crayons. he moves chairs and stools everywhere to get his writing utensils and recently adorned his head. then, to make matters worse, ben cut his hair and ended up nicking the back of his head with a little set of buzzers. hopefully he'll grow into his hat size soon!
