Playing a Little Catch-up!

...and shall i say, adjusting? luckily, i am adjusting well. the lord has really blessed me and except for a couple of nites, emerson only gets up twice and then settles right back in.

i have all ready been back to the office and have moved part of it over to it's new home at the shop and have my new set-up on quickbooks almost under control! and except for a large "baby" loaf, i am feeling good physically and mentally...love sitting indian style again! the boys...well, today bridon got kicked out of nursery. i never thought my child would be so naughty that he would be the one to get kicked out. i have to admit, i have a lot more empathy for people these days cause you just never know what's going on and how hard they really are trying! bridon was hitting and scratching other kids, so when time out didn't work, they took him to ben. oh dear. as for bentley, he loves his little sister, but i'm afraid he now is even more aggressive towards his little brother, pushing him down, hitting him, etc. (i wonder where bridon learned the moves?) ha!

other than that, we're a happy family! :) grandma moncur stayed with us until tuesday afternoon, cooking and cleaning and giving each boy one on one time. it was great and we were all sad to see her go! we were greeted by these adorable easter bunnies when we came home from the hospital. i can't believe i have three kids now! they were hung on the window i revamped. it used to be plain glass with original paint and a wreath...cute, but time for a change; spray painted it a vibrant red and had mirrors put in each pane. now i'm just waiting for ben's 'powder coated' handles he wanted done for it. speaking of which, i kind of went crazy with a few projects and cleaning out the basement right before i had her. ben was an awesome trooper and helped disassemble the ceiling fan and repaint it...it looks awesome and i painted the other light fixtures and plant stands to match. i also re-covered the car seat and finished that up at 10 p.m. the nite before! i'll have to post a picture later!

we had bentley's family birthday party where he requested roast beef and mashed potatoes, and a blue, mrs. wishy-washy cake (it is the title of a book abt. mrs. wishy washy and her farm). so, we had bbq beef sandwiches, mashed potatoes, orange and green salad, and the cake, which i must say was delicious! it was a beautiful day, so afterwards all the boys went out and played catch and we enjoyed the fresh air. we also had cousins come visit at the end of the week. katy and bentley requested watching 'frosty, the snowman.' i thought that was pretty funny! they had their first, sleepover up at grandma's a few days ago which bentley thought was all that. and ryan came down and played with bridon. he is so easy-going...i'll take him anyday! thanks grandma's for help with the kiddos!

so, here we are...trying to get back in the groove. i am definently open to suggestions from anyone who has been thru the adjustment phase with their kids! until then, ben and i will just keep trying to get them under control :)!
