Sibling Reunion Invaded

over the week of new years, all of ben's brothers and sisters got together for a family reunion. since us here on the home-front farm, winter is the best time and this was the first official one, hosted by loren and kathy. next year it is ben and i's turn.

we had a be-lated gift exchange, went swimming at the y, played on the wii, had meals at each others homes that live in the area (and ate LOTS of food...you don't walk away hungry in this family), went bowling, played games at the shop, celebrated the new year, played in the snow, and the kids saw a movie. it was super fun, until we got invaded. yep, invaded by infection. after four visits to the dr, bridon cleared up his ear infection, bentley still has a cough, and even ben broke down and went in after being miserable. miraculously, i was able to go pretty much unharmed, just a small cough. the Lord must have known i couldn't have handled it! all the other bros and sis and kids and mom and dad got crazy stuff too. i think all the germs mutated, and no one escaped...there were more ear infections, sinus infections, and even a case of bronchitis! even at that, it was fun to get together with everyone and great for the cousins to get to play and play! thanks for a great time everyone. i hope you all recover; we'll do it again next year!
