Four Little Monkeys

sunday nite, blaiz and tylee joined our family for a week! their daddy had his colon removed and needed time to leave the hospital and start recouping. we had a great, but intense time! :) keeping up with four under three is quite a task! blaiz and bentley had a blast playing tractors together and going with "uncle ben". they irrigated with him on the 4-wheeler, spent an afternoon in the swather (and grease), got treats, and finally blaiz's wish of a ride in the "stacker truck", that is after we made him eat his ENTIRE dinner of hawiian haystacks, no small feat for him! bentley only tried to pull blaiz's hair out and hit him a few times; his great way of adjusting to the newness. ahh!!
tylee and bridon started out on the right foot together, but were pretty much duking it out by the end of the week. i gave up on combing tylee's hair because bridon would rip out her pigtails or whatever i tried putting in. she'd push him down and poke out his eyes. they were both very loud. and it was insane to get a meal ready with them...mostly the dinner meal. i made a pizza and cooked some veggies for another field picnic, and thought we might blow apart before we left, but we made it and everyone loved it except for the two who are anti-vegetable :)!

on wednesday, our friend katie who watches the boys once a week, agreed to go with me to take everyone to a little water park over in boise called ivy wild. we all had a great time and EVERYONE enjoyed it! yeah! only a small, pee pee mishap from blaiz when we got home and a rough nite for tylee (ben again said he may never want more children :)...but never fear, relief showed up on thursday nite just as i was running around getting everyone dressed and diapered after a bath together. grandma came and spent friday and part of saturday with us. we had a great time going to the park, playing, taking a walk, and making more meals...this time served outside on the picnic table so that i could just have a hose down afterwards. worked out great! mom felt a little frazzled too, she said that is why she served us fish sticks and canned soup for lunches quite a bit. gosh, i just don't have any convenience food...maybe i should!

i hope this doesn't sound like i didn't enjoy this past week, it was just lots of work. i still love my niece and nephew; EVERYONE drove me nuts equally :)! i could have taken blaiz for longer, just the two little ones together are a handful! we hope you get better quickly eldon! i'll be up for it again, if you need help in a few weeks!!!

Umm...thankyou? Tylee has a new tooth! I'm pretty sure 3 more are on the way. Sorry you had to endure teething too! Blaiz had a really good time, he told me he would like to visit again when he can wear his costume and drive around for candy. I told him we'd have to wait and see--don't want to overwhelm anyone! Thanks for everything, it was really nice to know that the kids were safe and happy this week.
