Root Beer Anyone?

yep, bridon finally got to visit the GI specialist in boise on tuesday. after a small mishap with his mother screwing up the time of the appointment, we made it only 5 min's late! everything really worked out in getting there and i know this was not a coincidence but divine intervention in helping this poor boy. bridon's entire colon was packed...he got reamed out, sent to st. luke's for blood and allergy testing, and put on fletcher's root beer flavored laxative to finish cleaning him out before he starts a new treatment. every time we try something new, i get my hopes up, so for now let's just say i have my baby back. he is pooping, he is happy, and he takes naps and slept through the nite twice in row for the first time in his life this week. meanwhile, bentley got croup over the weekend and had to stay home from his beloved nursery. the wells' were in town and came out for a visit and dinner at the sandbar, so wendell kindly called in a prescription for him and it seemed to do the trick (thank you tons!). that is until tuesday, kathy graciously accepted watching bentley with no notice while i took bridon, and said he was not breathing normally. so, we hauled him into the dr. that afternoon and he got some more medication...and ben bought him a top of the line humidifier to replace our thrift store purchase. he seemed to be doing well until last nite, so we'll see if we can get a full recovery out of both of these boys!
