In a Flash!!! (Poinsettia bowl and back...)

on the 23rd we got up at 5 a.m. to a snowstorm and headed off to our ward's 'fill the temple' day. after missing the 6:30 session by just two minutes, we were able to enjoy the 7:00 session and then headed back home to our boys. jessica had been kind enough to stay the nite and babysit them when they got up. we picked up bridon, adorned our bronco gear, filled a backpack and then were off back to boise to catch a chartered flight to san diego and the poinsettia bowl! the much anticipated game was at charger stadium where the boise state broncos played the tcu hornfrogs (crazy! they had this huge horn frog machine they brought that tooted loudly after each point)...anyway, it was a fun day! we hired emily to babysit bentley and he had a blast, while ben, myself, bridon, loren, brad, jill, spencer, jessica, and natalie flew off to california. we found it cheaper to hire a limo than to rent a car to get to the game, so off we went from the little airport to wait for kickoff. in the end, the broncos ran out of gas in the second half and lost the game by only ONE point...darnit!! but we had a good time, bridon was a good boy, and we were back in a flash!!! we even had half time entertainment in front of us as some crazy, drunk kids filled other fan's hoods with peanuts and other odd displays...we were home that nite by 2:30, did that really happen???
