i normally wouldn't include such PERSONAL, family information on the blog, but bridon is only 5 months old, so i hope he won't mind. plus, we need some help! i've talked to family, friends, AND the good 'ol st. al's dr. about bridon's problem. he is such a happy little boy, but he has been hurting so bad because for over a month, he has been backed up! i have had to give him a supposatory 3 times now...poor boy! he doesn't sleep thru the nite, because he's up crying with his tummy all bloated with gas. oh, what to do. i've tried cereal (which i started again this week very diligently...wish us luck!), juice that he spits up, water, prunes (TOO much gas), and just got an idea today from a sister at our yw's meeting...karo syrup. anything's worth a shot!

Oh poor Bridon!! Do you mix his cereal with apple juice?? May help, who knows, I have not encountered this problemo yet, best of wishes. One of the few times you will ever pray for a bowel movement :)
Poor lil guy! Boston has the opposite problem in my mind---I change his poopie diapers somtimes 3-4 times a day! I have no advice sorry.I'd just search the internet for tips.
hey yes 2 tablespoons dark karo with 2 ounces of warm water, it is a miracle!!! poor kid, hope that works for ya!
My boys were the same way. We did prunes, prune juice, suppositories, baby fleets, Karo. In fact Dub still has problems (3 y/o) we give him a tsp. of mineral oil in a cup of juice. I don't know if you can use that on Bridon or not, he may still be a little young for that. Good luck.
One of our kids had that problem! It was awful! Her poo would get soo big from cooking in there that it would get stuck and she would cry and cry and cry! We had to do supositorys, and apple juice and then warm baths. Blessings also worked! Probably more than the other stuff! Good luck!
Hey, poor little guy! That is not fun! Hopefully it will get better soon! V.T.? this next week? Love, Kim
